Osborn Jones

Mr. Osborn Jones was born to the union of Mr. Sam Jones Sr. and Mrs. Sally Jones on July 6, 1950 in Tunica, Mississippi. He accepted Jesus Christ and on Wednesday October 23, 2019 Mr. Osborn was called to rest. Osborne had impacted so many lives each person who knew him will always have a lasting memory of him. Mr. Jones was employed with the City of South Bend for over twenty years and eighteen years with Allied Waste in Elkhart as an Automotive Mechanic.   

Osborn leaves to cherish his memory the mother of his children Nancy Jones of South Bend, IN ; his daughter Theresa Lynn Jones, of  Chicago, IL, and 3 sons Lanate Osborn Carter of Grand Rapids, MI, Terrence Leon Jones of South Bend IN, and Timothy Lee Jones of Atlanta, GA.  Three loving sisters Earnestine Ousley, Pearl Jones Martin, and Mary Elizabeth Jones all of Memphis, TN.  One bother Melvin Jones of Tunica, MS and two granddaughters Olivia Jones, and Joscelyn Jones; six grandsons Jonathan Dunbar, Trenton Jones, Isaac Jones, Josiah Jones, Camden Jones, and Malachi Jones and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins family and friends.

Preceding in his rest were his father Mr. Sam Jones Sr., his mother Mrs. Sally Jones, a brother Sam Jones Jr. and a sister Ruth Watson. 

Funeral Services will take place 12 Noon Friday November 1, 2019 at Laymen Chapel CME 303 S. Kenmore St; South Bend, IN. Viewing one hour prior.

Arrangements are Entrusted to Boyd and Son Funeral Home where condolences maybe shared.
