Mr. Alvin Bernard Jefferies was born January 2, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert (Bobby) and Julia Jefferies. On July 28, 2025 God called his angel home at the age of 66. He was married to Carlita Jefferies and from that union, they shared six children, Alvin was a devoted father, grandfather and friend to many. Everyone who encountered him felt his love and selflessness; if he had it; we all had it. We will cherish the memories we had with him forever.
He is survived by his six children Carrie Crawford, James "Jimmy” (Arlexus) Crawford, Alvin (lil pete) Jefferies, Diamond Jefferies, Sidney Jefferies and Julia Jefferies all of South Bend, IN; his sisters: Wanda Jefferies, Barbara Doxie, Bernice and Larnice Jefferies, his brother Rickey (Michelle) Jefferies, his special cousin, Larry Green, life long friend Patricia Campbell all 13 of his grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Carlita, his mother, Julia, his father Robert (Bobby) and his brother Robert. Alvin was a Jack of all trades, a very outspoken and unapologetically him, he will be truly missed. Arrangements entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences may be shared.

Poem
Life is but a passing place a pause in whats to be a resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys different paths along the way we all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay. Our destination is a place far greater than we know For some of the journeys quicker for some of the journey slow and when the journey finally ends, we claim great reward and find peace together with the Lord
