Carl L. Shelton

Mr. Carl L Shelton-Groves 50, a resident of Marine Street, South Bend, IN; whom the lord called on Friday, November 24th 2023. Carl was born on May 26, 1973 at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL to Pamela M Shelton and Leon Groves Sr., He attended Monroe Elementary, and Riley High School both in South Bend, Indiana.

He was married to Dana Dodd-Shelton. Carl loved his family, dancing, food, and his favorite motorcycle. Carl was a proud member of the Boogie Down Motorcycle Club.  Carl is survived by his mother Pamela Shelton-Groves and Father Leon Groves, Sr.; Carl has 2 sons, Carl Levell Shelton Jr. and Robert Levell Shelton both of South Bend, IN. He has 3 daughters, Tiara Kylie Shelton, Khalea Denae Shelton, and Cheyann Skylar Marie Shelton all from South Bend, IN. Carl has a host of 11 grandchildren. His grandchildren all called him PawPaw. Carl is also survived by his 4 brothers: Michael Shelton-Groves (identical twin), Leon Groves, Jr., Alonzo Groves, and Titus Groves and his honorary brother (Boshon Wynn). Carl has a host of Aunties, Uncles, cousins and friends, all throughout the United States. His favorite Auntie (Seneithea Shelton-Griffin). Carl was preceded in death by his son, Cobra, his grandparents, Charles and Betty Shelton, and Joelle Groves, and JD Groves, and 3 uncles: Robert, Pete, and Dan.
