Clyde Bestelle Miller

Mr. Clyde Miller, 71 of South Bend, IN departed this life and entered a new beginning on Thursday June 11, 2020. He was born to the union of Bestelle and Clydie Mae Miller on August 9, 1948 in Chicago, IL.  After high school, Clyde enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Army in 1975. He was a proud veteran. Clyde enjoyed spending time with family and friends holding great conversations and telling the best stories. He also enjoyed BBQing, going to casino to play Sparky and fishing.  He had a love for music especially bands like the Temptations and the Miracles kept him dancing. He was not afraid of having a good time and enjoyed life to the fullest. 

    Our Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend leaves to cherish his loving memory: Sons, Terry Hethington, Little Clyde, Brandon Miller, Justin Miller, Alex Miller, Jordan Jones, Isaac Jones, daughter Katelynn M. Jones; Sisters Sandra Miller of Fort Wayne, IN, Mary Miller -Brimley of Milwaukee WI ; Brothers, Robert (Kimberly) Miller and Tyrone Miller both of South Bend, IN ; Sister-in law Gloria Miller of Chicago, IL, Tina Miller of South Bend IN, special niece Claudia and a host of family, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lavern, Elijah, and Jimmy Miller. 

Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday June 20, 2020 at 12 Noon, viewing one-hour prior at Laymen Chapel CME 303 Kenmore St. South Bend, IN. Burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com
