David McMillian Jr.

Mr. David McMillian Jr., 68 was born to the union of David McMillian Sr. and Annie Mae (Lowery) McMillian on July 14, 1951 in Memphis, TN. David Walked on April 30, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN from a short illness with Covid-19.

He graduated from St. Joseph High School and attend Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac, MI,  receiving his Associates Degree. David enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and baseball. Mr. McMillian was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in South Bend, IN;  where he served as a altar boy during his youth.

David touched many lives leaving loving memories. He leaves behind two children: Crystal Houston of South Bend, IN and Jesse DeWayne ( La Shanti) Houston. Two Grandchildren: Peyton Anderson and Jehlin Houston, both of South Bend, IN; Two Great- Grandchildren: Tymara Suber and D’Arien Houston, both of  Kentucky. Three special cousins: Renee Gonzales, Francine Williams, and Vickie Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Geraldine McMillian and one Granddaughter: Jocelyn Houston of Kentucky.

Due to the Covid-19

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date to Celebrate the life of David McMillian Jr.; Donations are being accepted in lieu of flowers to cover funeral expenses. Arrangements are Entrusted to www.BoydandSonFuneralHome.com  where condolences may be shared.
