Debra (Debi) DeWeese

Debra Marie DeWeese, 64, of Palmetto, FL formerly Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2024. Debi was born on November 2, 1959, to Leonard and Catherine Mee in Cleveland, OH.

Debi’s warm personality and kind heart meant she never met a stranger. Her beautiful smile, comforting hugs, and contagious laugh would brighten anyone’s day. Her grandbabies will miss their weekly FaceTime calls, special packages, making buckeyes, and visits with Grandma DD so much.

Survivors include her son: Chad (Alexandra) DeWeese and grandchildren: Emerson, Trey, and Kennedy of South Bend, IN; mother, Catherine Mee of Mason, OH; siblings: Lenny (Kim) Mee of Mason, OH and Teri (Steve) Beall of Cincinnati, OH; niece/nephews: Tyler Mee, Kristen Mee, Jake (Kate) Beall, Andrew Mee, Matthew Mee, and Jeffrey Mee. Her unconditional love will be greatly missed by family and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard J. Mee; brother, Gerald Mee; and nephew, David Beall. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
