Denise Worix

Denise Angela Criglear- Worix 57,  was born to the union of Willie and Carolyn Criglear on October 21, 1964 in Markham, IL. She attended Bremen High School where she met her sweetheart Mr. Alton Worix Sr.  who she happily married May 18^th, 2002. Denise was a homemaker and the matriarch of the family spending the bulk of her days shaping and molding her five sons. She created a loving and supportive household giving  her all and her best. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo or cards, and  fishing. Denise was a very genuine person who devoted herself to whatever she wanted to do and spoke her mind in the process. Mama was always laughing and her loving smile was overflowing. When she had her mind set on something, she was always very determined to get it done. Her great sacrifices and wonderful character will always be remembered.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: five beautiful children: Johnnell Criglear of Alabama, Dwayne Criglear (Autumn Hillyer), Alton Worix Jr. (Cory Wallace), Shaun Criglear and Tawane Criglear (Melissa Criglear) all of South Bend, IN. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Siblings: Carla Criglear of South Bend, IN; Johnny “Butch” Lang, Sandra Robinson, Derric Criglear and Joyce Lang (Babysister)  all of Illinois.

Denise was welcomed to her heavenly home by her husband Alton Worix Sr., Mother Carolyn Criglear, Brother Jim Lang, and beloved grandson Marius Criglear on March 19, 2022.  She also leaves to cherish, a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday March 26, 2022 at Greater St. Matthews Church 2705 Marquette Blvd. South Bend, IN at 11 A.M. with a viewing one-hour prior. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhomecom.com
