Jackie Denise Vaughn

Jackie Denise (Molody) Vaughn, age 57 was born to the proud parents Joyce A. Vaughn and Abraham Rodgers Sr. in South Bend, Indiana July 18, 1967. She received her formal education from Riley High School. Jackie would become employed by the Morris Inn at Notre Dame as a housekeeper for many years, giving joy to everyone around her. She enjoyed helping others with childcare and spending most of her time listening to gospel music while enjoying her grandchildren. 

She leaves a legacy of love ones which include Three sons: Jimmy T. Hunt Sr. and Derel M. Givens both of South Bend, IN; Jerel T. Mayfield of Denver, CO. One Daughter: Shawn Vaughn of Indianapolis, IN. She has Five Sisters: Tasha Vaughn South Bend, IN, Jessica Fountain Las Vegas, JaQuise Dixon Portland, OR, Shavona Rodgers and La Qrisha Mensah Vancouver, WA. Three Brothers: John Parker, Abraham Rodgers Jr. Portland, OR, Jason Rodgers Vancouver, WA. One special Cousin Bernard Vaughn Sr., Special Brother Dejuan Jackson, 23 grandchildren and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joyce A. Coffey Vaughn and Abraham Roders Sr. a special father John T. Coffey, daughter Jamisha L. Vaughn, Brother Terrence McEleven Sr. and a grandchild Jalen Hunt.    

Service 11AM Friday September 27,2024 at Laymen Chapel with a viewing one-hour prior. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, IN. Arrangements are entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences may be shared.
