With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Jeffery Allen Gunn Sr., he blessed us with 54 years of laughter, joy and memories. On February 3, 2025 he join his heavenly family who proceeded him in death: paternal Grandfather Jettie Gunn and Grandmother Betty Gunn, Maternal Grandfather Andy Cunningham and Grandmother Willie Ann Cunningham, Mother Addie Gunn and Father Alonzo Gunn and son Tre’Vion Gunn.
Jeffery was born and raised in South Bend, In and received his formal education from the South Bend Community School Corp. graduating from Washington High School. He was known for his athletic abilities and shined on the basketball court. Hardworking was a quality he had and knew well, he would work many jobs to support his family. Family was important to him, and he loved spending time with his kids, cooking and doing yard work. In his later years Jeffery found Christ and was baptized at New Hope Ministry Baptize Church.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife Denise Gunn, seven children Jeremelle, Jeff, Davonte, Wyomie, JaVonn, Icon and India. 12 Grandkids Jamier, Serenity, TreVionna, Jace, Troy, Zanilyah, Adaya, Briella, Milley, Gio, Za’Ella, Za’Niyah and brother Lonnie and Fay Gunn their children Lonnie Jr and Martell. Along with a host of cousins, family and friends. We would like to thank you all for coming and supporting the family during this rough time. Please keep us in your prayers.
