Larry Thomas Smith

Mr. Larry Thomas Smith Jr 43, of South Bend, IN found rest on December 4, 2020 after a short illness. He was born September 8, 1977 to the proud parents: Peggy and Larry Thomas Smith Sr. in Joliet, Illinois. Larry Graduated from West High School of Joliet, IL and was a hardworking carpenter and factory laborer. He enjoyed playing basketball, reading, and listening to Tupac Shakur, doing yardwork and spending time with family and friends whom he loved dearly.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: Mother Peggy Williams, Three beautiful children: Xzavier Burley Sr. of Joliet, IL; Faith and Elijah Smith Both of South Bend, IN. Three Sibling: Latwanna Morrow and Steven Paul Parker Smith (Leiora) both of South Bend, IN Tiffany Smith of Indianapolis, IN One grandchild: Xzavier Burley Jr. of Joliet, IL and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Thomas Smith Sr., Uncle TJ(Jimmy) Morrow, Great-Grandmother Amelia Ferguson, Maternal Grandparents: Arthur B. Morris and Sallie Morrow, Paternal Grandparent: Anne Rae Smith, Aunts Mary Jean Pierce and RuthAnn Morrow-Kincy. 

A Celebration of life will take place in Larry’s Honor at Laymen Chapel CME Church on December 19, 2020 at 12 noon with a viewing one hour prior. Face Mask Required.
