Celebration of Life for Latisha Latonya Davis

Latisha Latonya Davis, AKA “Tasha and Miss Mac” of 2630 Monroe Street, South Bend, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, Godmother, and friend, departed this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in her home. She was born on April 21, 1987, to the union of Tony Davis and Tina Mari Keys-Cheaton. Tasha was born and raised in South Bend, where she attended South Bend Community Schools. During her adult life, she worked as a housekeeper at Candlewood Hotel. 

Tasha loved life, her family, and especially her mother. Tasha loved her mother so much that when her mother became ill, she allowed her mother to move in with her and became her “caretaker.” 

Tasha enjoyed being around her family and was known as the life of the party. Her favorite words were “Don’t Piss me off”. And you could always hear her in the background yelling out your government name. Tasha also loved the Lord. She was a “babe” in Christ, starting to grow and learn more about God, where she joined Miracle Temple COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Mark Boyd.

Tasha leaves to cherish her brother John Tompson, two sisters, LaDonna Williams, and Keisha Keys, nieces and nephews Lexis, Devon, Natrianna (Nuke), Iyanna, Shatiya, Janasha (Booty), Jamariaon, Arrious (cheeseball), Latricia, Navaeh, Bre’Ion, Bri’Asa, Bra’din, Tymir, Tyrin, Julius Jr and Jarious, Stepfather Eloton Tompson,  Special Aunts who she also looked up to as mothers figures, Tresa and Tammy Keys, Patricia Geogia, Angelette Johnson, Beverly Cheaton, and Kim and Selena Logan.

One and only Uncle Demetrice Logan. Special uncles who she also looked up to as father figures, Alan Badgett, Jewel Sr Scott, Harold Johnson, special sister Janae Jenkins, Special Godson Jaden Johnson  (Poppa), specials sister/cousins, Dirtrice, Shamika, Latricia, Crystal, Rashanda, Michaelea, Chamara, Jaqueace, Devon (Shay), Rosland, Makeda, Michelle, Sierra, Ashley, Sharnika, Shaheda, Nicole, Brandi, Tealisha, Sandra, Robert, Sierra P., Raquel (Rockie), God parents John and Yolanda Washington, Godbrothers John jr, Ja’mare (Shasda) and Muliyah, her dog Missy and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Tasha was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Davis and Tina Keys Cheaton, her maternal grandfather, and grandmother, John and Gwendolyn Keys, her brother Martel Keys, aunts and uncles Perry Hunter, Elizabeth, Linda Ann, Edward, Tyree (Puncho), Pamela walls, Raymond Lewis and Otis Washington, and special cousin Shaundra Johnson (CJ).

On July 11, 2025 a Celebration of Life will be held at Miracle Temple COGIC, located at 920 Napier Street, South Bend, IN 46601. The viewing is from 11 AM -12 PM, and the Celebration of Life service starts at 12 PM (Noon). Arrangements have been entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences may be shared.

Repass will be held at UAW Local #5 –1426 S. Main St. South Bend, IN 46613 at 3pm
