Marjorie Denise Henderson

Mrs.Marjorie Denise Henderson (James) “Neat” Loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt departed life at 12:45 PM at St. Joseph Medical Center. She lost her battle to illness but won a seat in heaven. She was known for her beautiful smile which touched the heart of many. She loved music, stayed on the dance floor, brought laughter and joy to many others.

On July 10, 1956 she was born to the union of Ernest Sr. and Ollie Mae James, whom preceded her in death. Marge worked as a housekeeper, cleaning various offices throughout the South Bend area. During Her last two weeks as she transitioned to a new life, she let it be known she was tired and not afraid to be with her Lord.

She leaves to cherish her Husband of 47 years, Tyrone Henderson (Skip) of South Bend, In. Her loving Daughters: Treva (Larry) Murphy of Liberty, Missouri, Crystal Husband of South Bend, In. Desiree Husband of Shawnee Kansas, Her Son Tyrone (Tiffany) of Shawnee Kansasa. Three Sisters: Sharon and Shania James of South Bend, In; and Julaine James of Alanta. Ten Grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. A loving neighbor Deborah Reed. Brother-in-law Gregory Henderson of Loving, Tx and Jeffery (Patricia) Henderson of Florida. Sister-in-law Ashley (Audrey) Henderson, Marcella Henderson. Aunt Verline Coleman of Holden, MD. Favorite Cousins: Denise Henderson (Prissy) Joan Mccheston of Rio Ranch, New Mexico and Valerie Murphy of Florida. Friend Marian (Robert) Butler, Special Niece and Nephew: Tracy James, Robert James, Anthony James, Willie T. Saul and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends who she loved dearly.

Preceding her in death: Sisters Verna James, Velma (Harold) Traylor, Patricia (Andre) Williams. Brother: Earnest James Jr., Maternal Grandparents: Vince Alexander, Grandmother Lillie Mae Alexander, Aunt Toby (Alisha) James, Mother-in-Law Doris Henderson and Sister-in-law Deborah Neely. Nephews Darrell Mays and Tyshon Dotson. Emanuel Neely, Sedrick “Sid” Neely.

As we maneuver through life without you… whenever we see purple remember that our love-one “Neat” is near and dancing.
