Patricia Williams

Miss Patricia Ann Williams 67 of South Bend, Indiana passed away on February 2, 2025, at West Bend Nursing Facility. She was born November 13, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana to Earnest James Sr. and Ollie Mae James.

Patricia attended the South Bend Community School Corporation. She was a stay-at-home mom where she took care of her two children Lashonda James and Willie T Sauls Jr.

Patricia loved dancing and singing to her favorite artists James Brown, Al Green, Betty Wright, and many more while she cleaned and cooked. Patricia had a very kind heart and would give you the shirt off her back and at the same time she could be a firecracker. She was full of energy all the way until her passing. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her humor, smile, and personality would light up a room. Those that knew her, knew her well.

Patricia leaves behind 2 children, Lashonda James and Willie T Sauls Jr. (Jasmine Donaldson), 6 grandchildren Arsenio Smith, Kendaya Smith, Katherine Sauls, Kristen Sauls, William Sauls, Willie Sauls III. Patricia was the 2nd youngest out of 9 children Velma Traylor, Earnest James Jr., Stevie James of New York, Verna James, Marjorie (Tyrone Skip) Henderson, Sharon James, Julaine James, and Shaina James. Patricia leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a special niece Kimberly James and 21 great grandchildren.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her parents Earnes Sr. and Ollie Mae James, 2 paternal grandparents Vince Alexander and Toby (Alisha) James, 2 sisters Velma Traylor and Verna James, her brother Earnest James Jr., 2 grandsons Tyeshon Dotson and baby Arsenio, 2 Aunts and 1 Uncle Evelynn (Flora) James, Van (Bertha) Alexander, and 1 nephew Darrell Mays, along with 2 cousins Richard Brown and Lamar James.

Patricia will be greatly missed by her special nieces and nephews Kimberly James, Tracey James, Umekia (Leon) Johnson, Bernard (Dude) Johnson Jr. and Robert (Chop) James.

Rest easy Patricia Ann Williams, you will forever be missed and never forgotten.
