Triston Dwight Lewis

Mr. Triston Dwight Lewis, 19 departed this life on Monday November 28th, 2022. Triston had a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and grew up attending Greater Holy Temple COGIC as a child.  He received his education from Mishawaka High School and was preparing to enter Job Corps to further his education. He had a love and passion for music at a young age and became a self-taught musician/writer. In his teen years he discovered a love and talent for Rap. Up until the end, his happy place was creating and expressing himself through music. Triston was a combination of a playful loving kid, and he was also a very serious deep old man. But for me his mother, he was my first true love the moment he was born on August 29, 2003.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory Mother Judy Driver-Ellis and Vincent Ellis, Biological Father: Timothy Lewis. Maternal Aunt Derrena Driver. Siblings Dylan Chipala, Selena Marie Ellis, Tanyah Ellis, Desiree Elzey, Tyshawna Lewis, Timishea Lewis, Timea Lewis, Heavenly Lewis, and Quinntavius Lewis. Loving Grandparents: Michael and Marie Meadows, Angelina Ellis, Rod and Jennifer Glen. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially his greater Holy Temple Family. He was preceded in death by his Great grandparents: Willie and Idene Ward, Eddie and Addie Driver and Grandfather Dwight Driver. Paternal Grandparents: Edwin and Virginia Lewis. 

A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 12 noon with a viewing one hour prior at Greater Holy Temple COGIC. Arrangements have been entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences may be shared.
